WOW, OMG, it is a year ago this month that the journey began to bring my play One Nation, One Mission, One Promise to the stage and oh what an amazing experience it has been!
The response has been very gratifying, and here’s one review of the show that was particularly moving for me:
“One Nation, One Mission, One Promise is a must-see play for all who care about America’s past and future. It is a fabulously written production that seamlessly weaves together the narratives of our most stirring and motivating trailblazers who sacrificed so much in the name of freedom and liberty. I was both uplifted and inspired by the timely significance of this play, which is superbly performed by a cast that dazzles. This show will resonate with all who believe that mankind’s struggles for a greater good are not in vain. You will not be disappointed!”

After the show…
Since we closed on February 4th, I have taken the time to get some much-needed rest, finalize all the wonderful things that must get done when a show closes, and have been taking part in the prestigious Commercial Theater Institute 14 week course (which is amazing, by the way).
THANKYOU’S
Soon we will be moving into the production’s next chapter which I will be revealing as we move along, but first and most importantly there are so many people to thank, and this is where we will pick up from our last social media contact, a series of thank you’s.
What better way to begin a blog, because there is no way I could have done this without having the most amazing group of people around me, and there were many.
So let’s begin with you, the audience!
Thank you, everyone who came to the show, talked about the show, shared information about the show, supported the show, gave us wonderful reviews and inspired us all to keep going!!!
You wrote the following:
“A powerful and timely reminder that each of us bears a responsibility to uphold the ongoing fulfillment of the ideals of our founding fathers, mothers, etc.”
“It reminded me of ancient Greek Theater with the poetry and narrator my mind was nourished, and my heart was touched. Very inspiring. My congratulations to the cast, crew, and author. Very thought-provoking.”
Showscore
By the time the show closed you gave us a ShowScore rating of 85, which is so huge! We breathe life into the show to bring it to the stage, and you the audience give us the oxygen to keep the show going.

Looking to the future…
We are most grateful to all of you and we will are excited about keeping you posted on future productions of One Nation, One Mission, One Promise where we will continue to honor:
- America’s unique and diverse citizenship

Stay tuned for our next post where we will share with you the wonderful and extraordinary work of our cast and behind the scenes team.
A quote from One Nation, One Mission, One Promise:
“Never believe that a few caring people can’t change the world. For, indeed, that’s all who ever have.”
-MARGARET MEAD
Thank you to all the young people who are raising their voices for a better world for all of us.

I am deeply inspired by courageous people who speak their truth like David Hogg and Emma Gonzales. “We call B.S.!”
As they say in Unity, “The truth will set you free.”
